Dear Readers,
Many-a-times we see some persons being allotted some work who are ready to take responsibility , achieve the tasks with full energy and enthusiasm. Such persons are ready-to-go or the go-getters who achieve their tasks, come what may. While there are still some who take the task in hand, half-heartedly, put the half of the half-willingness into it, and as a result, doesn’t achieve even a quarter of the results that they would have been expecting.
Those persons who take up the responsibility, accountability and the ownership of the tasks get mad about doing it. And when I say mad, I mean they “Make A Difference”.
Yes! Actually they make a difference, in the life of those with whom they are in touch; be it their sub-ordinates or superiors.
I can recall of an event here, a short true which I would like to share over here. Once there was a woman, a lady perhaps crossing her 50’s. The lady was living happily with her only daughter after she got divorced from her husband. Life is not easy, you know, it’s somewhat like the game of thrones. So, expect the unexpected and live each moment of your life with an attitude of gratitude. This lady, when she was going in the marketplace with her only daughter, saw the most tragic part of her life. An over-speedily truck from nowhere, came from behind, banged and flew away her daughter. Shattered all over with blood just gushing out, all over her face and body, she cried for help and easily received some.
But, by the time they reached hospital, it was all over. Accidentally, her only hope for living, her single-most piece of her heart, her beloved daughter was no more. And afterwards, the reports and news suggested that the driver of the truck was heavily drunk, thus had no control over his rash driving. It is an irony that the person whom we love the most, also becomes dear to the God very soon. The lady, heavily down by the sorrow and grief thought to Make A Difference. What happened to her, might not happen to some-one else. Some-one else might not lose their only beloved child, she formed an organization, an N.G.O by the name M.A.D.D.; ‘Mothers Against Drunk Driving’, in which she and some other volunteers are working in it, and the venture is running successfully in various countries of the world.
So, my dear friends, you have to actually get MAD to achieve something, you have to Make A Difference in other’s life if you want to change your life. Do it, not for the sake of others, but for the sake of your yourself. You’ll feel better.
